Upside Digital is one of HUSPI’s partners and drives digital transformation by leveraging smart technology, mastering the supply chain, and creating a superior customer experience. HUSPI’s role in this particular project was to be an outsourced development arm for one of Upside Digital’s clients – a steel plant located in Austria that needed a large-scale product that could bring together demand and supply data from multiple sources in the form of ERP, Sales, and CRM instruments.
Full-Cycle Process Management
Our solution doesn’t just focus on one of the stages of steel production – it encompasses the entire flow beginning from the initial contacts with customers to managing the supply chain to delivering the ready products to the clients.
The first step is the sales process for the steel products. We set up a comprehensive CRM solution to track all sales-related information.
Once clients ordered steel goods, they have to be produced. Our solution has the feature to purchase raw materials necessary for production.
The goods are produced and the administrators have the option to track and monitor the process at all stages of production.
Ready products need to be shipped to the end client and the software solution has a feature for setting up and tracking the delivery.
Large plants have a lot of data – especially when we’re talking about the full-cycle processes. Our solution had to provide data collection, storage, management, and analysis options.
A solution is successful when it can be used by real people, therefore we needed to come up with such data display that would make it convenient and understandable.
The client had an existing IT ecosystem that we needed to integrate our solution into. We took over the architecture from another vendor and completed the system.

- Development was done using Angular 4, Java Spring, REST API, HTML5, MySQL, Oracle;
- DevOps services included Docker, Apache Tomcat, TeamCity, CI, Windows Server 2016.
