HUSPI at Saxony!Ukraine Business Days 2025 🇩🇪🤝🇺🇦

HUSPI took part in Saxony!Ukraine Business Days 2025, deepening tech cooperation between Ukrainian innovators and German industry leaders.

Last week, HUSPI joined a group of Ukrainian tech and industrial leaders in Saxony!Ukraine Business Days 2025, organized by Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation and implemented by Gigahertz Ventures GmbH. The event brought together innovators, manufacturers, and digital transformation experts from both countries — united by a shared vision of rebuilding and modernizing industries through technology and collaboration.

A Week of Innovation and Connection

The five-day program took place across Dresden, Chemnitz, Zwickau, Leipzig, and Mittweida, combining company visits, matchmaking sessions, and networking events.

Our team – represented by Olga Provotar, Co-Founder, Rita Shygyda, COO, and Oleksandr Lapko, HUSPI Business Development Partner – and other Ukrainian entrepreneurs from different Ukrainian companies visited some of Saxony’s most innovative and established companies, including:

  • Volkswagen Group, exploring the future of e-mobility and smart production.
  • Mikromat GmbH and NILES-SIMMONS Industrieanlagen GmbH, learning about precision engineering, automation, and sustainability in German manufacturing.
  • IMM Electronics GmbH, Antacon GmbH, and Enadyne GmbH, showcasing Saxony’s ecosystem of applied innovation, from embedded systems to green technology.

Other companies included Leichtbau-Zentrum Sachsen (LZS), RORZE Engineering GmbH, FES GmbH Fahrzeug-Entwicklung Sachsen, Licomo GmbH, and Werkbank 32.

Each visit offered valuable insights into how digitalization, AI, and data-driven decision-making are reshaping European industry: themes that strongly align with HUSPI’s own work in custom software development for industrial, fintech, healthtech, and edtech sectors.

From Insights to Partnerships

The program’s highlight was Hub:Disrupt 2025 — a full-day innovation event held at Volkswagen’s Transparent Factory in Dresden. Hundreds of participants from the industrial automation and smart manufacturing sectors gathered to discuss the latest technologies transforming European production.
For HUSPI, it was a powerful reminder that meaningful innovation happens where technology meets collaboration.

As our COO Rita Shygyda summarized:

“It was an intense yet deeply insightful experience — full of company visits, meaningful conversations, and valuable networking opportunities. Seeing everything firsthand and meeting the people behind the innovation made all the difference. This week was not only about discovering new opportunities but also about building bridges and strengthening international cooperation.”

Why Saxony and Ukraine Make Sense Together

Saxony and Ukraine share more than just engineering excellence — they share resilience, innovation, and a drive toward modernization. Saxony stands as one of Germany’s top industrial regions, leading in automotive, semiconductor, and clean-tech manufacturing.

Ukraine, in turn, has become a European leader in defense and MilTech innovation, driven by necessity and strengthened by world-class engineering talent.

This expertise — from autonomous systems and robotics to AI-based situational awareness and cybersecurity — positions Ukrainian companies as valuable partners for German and EU industries seeking to accelerate innovation safely and responsibly.

Together, these strengths form a natural partnership for Industry 4.0, AI-driven automation, and dual-use technologies that bridge civil and defense innovation.

Looking Ahead

At HUSPI, we believe in long-term partnerships built on shared values and measurable results. Participating in Saxony!Ukraine Business Days 2025 reaffirmed our commitment to connecting Ukrainian innovation with European industry — helping companies evolve through technology, not just adapt to it.

We are grateful to Saxony Trade & Invest, Gigahertz Ventures, and all participating companies for the warm welcome, impeccable organization, and forward-looking mindset.

The bridges built this week are only the beginning.
