About the vacancy:

We’re looking for a person for full-time employment in the position of Support Engineer. Every project, especially at the initial stage, needs someone to take care of the technical issues that might arise, not connected with the code itself. We need such a person who will support the software we’ve developed for our clients.

Preferable working experience: 1-3 years

Role’s purpose: 

To ensure that our clients’ employees and end-users enjoy the user experience without server crashes and other issues.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Education related to computer technology and/or advanced PC user skills
  • Knowledge of general principles of database operation and software development
  • Understanding the principles of website development
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation / technical requirements, setting tasks
  • Experience in preparing training and presentation materials, training users of information systems
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with data sets
  • Self-motivation, result-orientedness, and high learnability
  • Good communication skills

Additionally, it’ll be great if you:

  • Know how SQL works
  • Know a bit about JS and MySQL
  • Understand the methods and features of organizing bilateral exchange between systems (APIs, file exchange, etc.)
  • Know how to use the tools for business processes description
  • Know the peculiarities of information exchange in XML, CSV, JSON formats
  • Know how to use task trackers (Trello, Jira, etc.)

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Participate in software development at all stages of the project: from requirements analysis to system release
  • Set up and configure the system according to customer requirements
  • Communicate with the software developers to adapt the system to the needs of the client
  • Communicate with clients of the company and work with objections
  • Provide technical support of software performance after release: making changes, eliminating errors that occur during startup
  • Test the modifications 
  • Create technical documentation for necessary functionality implementation as well as integration with other services
  • Support users within the framework of the duties of an IT department employee
  • Traini system users, preparing and adapting instructions and presentations
  • Participate in the development of activities plan to improve customer experience
